Hon Douglas Alexander MP launched the new research strategy for the UK Department for International Development (DFID).The new strategy focuses on 6 priority themes - agriculture, climate change, governance, growth, health, and future horizons. It also gives significant attention to research capacity strengthening and research communication and uptake.
