The International Institute for Communication and Development (IICD) recently joined Euforic. IICD assists local organizations in 9 countries to make effective use of information and communication technologies (ICT) as a tool for development.
On 5 and 6 July 2006, IICD and Euforic co-organized a 'web 2.0 in development' writeshop to develop training materials in this area.
