In June 2007, Euforic joined forces in Brussels with CONCORD and the members of both networks. Alongside the Euforic AGM, CONCORD organized the first meeting of its ‘Communication Network’. Euforic and CONCORD members participated in various workshops and training/awareness sessions on issues and topics related to information, knowledge and communication in international cooperation.
This was a first meeting of a new CONCORD Communication Network that seeks to enhance civil society efforts to inform, communicate, and influence development actions and policies. It was also a first large-scale Euforic-CONCORD collaboration where we think the synergies of our shared interests and common concerns will add value to both networks.
